Jimmy Howard makes his 15th consecutive start in goal for the Wings tonight when they take on the Nashville Predators at the Joe Louis Arena.
Howard enters tonight’s game fifth in the NHL in goals-against average (1.91) and tied for 10th in save percentage (.929).
The Wings (13-7-1, 27 points) also look to make it four straight wins tonight as they try to climb back atop the Western Division against a Predators team (10-7-4, 24 points) that is winless in their last three.
The only change coming tonight for the Wings is Patrick Eaves will replace Corey Emmerton which may cause some juggling on the third and fourth line.
