Jazz and Thunder postponed minutes before tipoff due to illness

Minutes before the Jazz and Thunder were scheduled to tip in Oklahoma City the game was suddenly postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

Chesapeake Energy Arena PA announcer confirmed the news to the fans in attendance reassuring that everyone was “safe” but that they needed to make their way out of the arena in an “orderly fashion”.

The game was allegedly delayed and eventually postponed due to concern over Jazz center Rudy Gobert’s reported illness when sent each team’s medical staff’s into a frenzy prior to the game and as the NBA mulls over options for the season going forward amid the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.

Despite though the measures taken by the Jazz, Thunder, and NBA there’s no confirmation that Gobert has the coronavirus.
