Jameis Winston being investigated by Florida State for the 2012 rape allegations

Florida State v Clemson

No this isn’t deja vu, Jameis Winston is under investigation yet again for the same rape allegations that happened back in December of 2013.

According to a report from Deadspin, the Florida State QB and pitcher is once again under the microscope for the same sexual assault allegations back on December 7th, 2012 which  wasn’t investigation for a full year by authorities. Ironically enough the University investigation is coming after he was originally cleared by police and after the Seminoles won the National Championship.

Two of Winston’s teammates however – Chris Casher and Ronald Darby – are already being charged with five different University code of conduct violations. Casher and Darby also told investigators that they were present and witnessed Winston have sex with the accuser. Deadspin also quotes Casher who said “he’d walked into the room ‘to see if the female would agree to allow Casher to participate in the sex acts that were occurring.’” There was apparently a video tape that went along with this at first however Casher mentioned he eventually deleted it and discarded the phone of which it was recorded on.

Because he may still have more to offer to the University, Winston is yet to face code of conduct violations. Why? Well Deadspin writes that according to their sources Winston refused to answer questions and that “the meeting became ‘an educational conversation’ in which Winston was advised of the university’s definition of consent, its alcohol policies, and its code of conduct.”
