Jake Arrieta has done it again.
For the second time in eight months, the Cubs ace threw a no-hitter this time in a 16-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Arietta allowed struck out six while walking four in the win.
What’s really crazy though when it comes to Arrieta’s starts aren’t so much the two no-hitters but the video game stats that come associated with his outings. For instance he’s hit more home runs than (3) than he’s given up (2) over his last 22 starts. Not to mention his last 24 regular season starts, Arrieta has gone 20-1 with a 0.86 ERA and 0.69 WHIP.
Fan crashes the Jake Arrieta NO HITTER celebration! 😂😂😂 https://t.co/vg6VJRtI8j
