Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs made an appearance on one of the biggest stages in sports entertainment Saturday night at WrestleMania Night One in Las Vegas.
Gibbs was shown on the broadcast as cameras panned across celebrities in attendance, a group that included Stephen A. Smith, George Kittle, and Tyrese Haliburton.
The moment itself was quick, but his reaction after the main event stood out.
Following Cody Rhodes retaining the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the Night One main event, Gibbs didnβt seem pleased with WWEβs decision.
He was not alone.
A large portion of the wrestling audience reacted similarly after the result, with many fans voicing disappointment following Rhodesβ title defense to close the show.
For Gibbs, the appearance adds to the growing crossover between NFL players and major wrestling events, especially during WrestleMania weekend, which continues to draw high-profile athletes and celebrities from across sports.
