The Howard Stern show lost a member of their family this weekend as it was learned that Eric ‘the actor’ Lynch passed away at the age of 39 Saturday according to his manager Johnny Fratto and TMZ.
I am so sorry and so sad to inform everyone that my friend Eric "The Actor" Lynch passed away yesterday afternoon!!! pic.twitter.com/6aH9LdFEWW

Originally known as Eric the Midget by the Stern Show staff and fans, Lynch made his first appearance on the Stern show back in 2002 during a call-in. He eventually became a regular on the show often times mixing it up with the other on-air characters including Howard who Lynch had a love/hate relationship with.
Lynch’s death reportedly came Saturday when he was rushed to a Sacramento hospital with heart problems. From there apparently Lynch suffered further organ failure before passing away with family and friends at his side.
Rest in peace, Eric the Actor. We love you.

After years of calling into the Stern Show, Eric the Actor received various acting gigs including appearances on “In Plain Sight” and “Fringe.”
Lynch made his final appearance on the Stern Show this past week announcing that his longtime caretaker Jon would be moving back to Alabama to take care of his ailing parents and in turn would force him (Lynch) to live with his parents.
Eric the Actor was truly a polarizing individual on the Stern Show but a favorite among many fans like myself.
He will be missed. Rest in peace little guy.
