IMPACT Wrestling returns tonight with their most recent television tapings after the fallout from Bound From Glory. That fallout included former champion Austin Aries literally giving the company the middle finger and walking out after his loss to Johnny Impact.

Anyways, heading into tonight the big question remains, how will IMPACT address what happening at the conclusion of the Aries/Impact match? From any angle it doesn’t seem like anyone has a clue nor is anyone completely sure if Aries’ outburst was planned or genuine. Likewise, those connected to the inner pro wrestling circles have no clue whatsoever as well.
What is known is that Aries wasn’t at the last set of tapings for IMPACT and wasn’t mentioned as of today. That still though doesn’t mean Aries won’t be addressed in some way whether it’s a last minute backstage shoot.
In any sense though this seems like a golden opportunity for IMPACT to take advantage of the Aries situation whatever it may be. If it’s a work and part of some bigger plan for the character then the creative direction will more than likely work itself out. However if this wasn’t a work and Aries reaction was real, then the company needs to jump at the opportunity to bury him in any which way they legally can. More than anything, IMPACT needs viewers and they currently have one of the more notable current pro wrestling controversies in the palm of their hand.
