Michigan had a nice bounce back win over Western Michigan after a disappointing performance opening weekend against Notre Dame. Nonetheless Saturday’s victory marked a few first for Michigan in front of the home crowd. For the Wolverines Shea Patterson threw his first touchdown pass wearing a Michigan uniform, a drought for U of M receivers come to an end and fans in Ann Arbor are hoping to have finally seen some progress on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
