Greg Hardy

In addition to beating on women, former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy will attempt to beat up guys or if karma is actually a thing, get his ass kicked inside an octagon belonging to some MMA promotion in the United States.

According to MMAFighting.com, Hardy will make a โ€œtransitionโ€ to MMA putting his football career on hold after going unsigned this past offseason.

โ€œIโ€™m very focused and excited to start my MMA career,โ€ Hardy said in a statement provided to MMAFighting.com. โ€œIโ€™m going to do this the right way, I can assure you of that.โ€

Hardy reportedly has zero MMA experience aside from beating on women so itโ€™ll be interesting to see how that โ€œtransitionโ€ goes.  However according to people from his inner-circle, a number of promotions are interested in signing the 28-year old.

Hardy spent the majority of his career with the Carolina Panthers and missed most of the 2014 season after being placed on the commissionerโ€™s exempt list because he apparently beat the shit out of an ex-girlfriend. But since heโ€™s a football player, and could still contribute to an NFL team an arbitrator reduced his 10 game suspension and he eventually signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.

Currently listed at 285-pounds, Hardy will more than likely make his debut as a heavyweight sometime in 2017.
