UPDATE: Oh don’t worry everyone, Schwartz yelling at the fans was his way of firing up his players (via Chris McCosky of the Detroit News):
“I was disappointed to hear boos,” he said. “We’re getting ready to go to overtime. Our crowd has been good for us but I thought our team
needed a lift right there. We didn’t need to feel bad at that point. We were going into overtime at that point and I was just trying to get the team ready. It’s tough; players are getting booed and you want to keep them fired up.” Though he didn’t deny that he swore at the fans, he said he was trying to fire up his players.
“We’re trying to get to overtime and try to win the game,” he said. “We want our fans to support us and our fans have been great for us. I think the psyche of the team at that point, we needed to have that spark. We needed to feel like we’re going to go out there and win it. That’s the only thing I was doing.”
The Lions once again lost to a team they had no business losing to, this time around to the New York Giants 23-20 from Ford Field eliminating Detroit from playoff contention.
Aside though from the utter monstrosity on the field, it looked as though Schwartz was yelling at Lions fans as his team began to put the final touches on yet another huge embarrassing failure.
Jim Schwartz…
(probably).

Next think you know Schwartz will be playing Josh Groban at some Lions team dinner.
