Game over in Indy? Jim Irsay call’s Peyton Manning a ‘politician’

With the current changes coming to the Indianapolis Colts, franchise QB Peyton Manning talked with Indianpolis Star’s Bob Kravitz about all of those change’s in the Colts’ organziation.

In his discussion, Manning used some very interesting terminology such as “eggshells” when describing the facility in Indianapolis.

To make things short, it seemed like Manning was preparing himself for a new team next season.

In response to Manning’s comment Colts owner Jim Irsay wasn’t shy on his own feelings…

“I don’t think it’s in a good interest to paint the horseshoe in a negative light, I really don’t,” Irsay said. “He’s such a big part of that and everything else, but the horseshoe always comes first.

Furthermore, Irsay referred to Manning as a “politician” and that he (Manning) should learn how to “keep it in the family”.

With the Colts more than likely drafting Stanford QB Andrew Luck in this April and these latest comments from Manning and Irsay, it’s looking more and more like the longtime Colts QB will be playing for a new team next season.
