Former longtime Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was killed in a single-car accident late Saturday night when he lost control of his Yukon Denali, flipping it into a drainage culvert just a mile outside his home in Nashville. According to Police at the scene, alcohol was said not to be a factor and the 36-year-old Bironas was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Bironas, who spend eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans was the franchise’s second all-time leading scorer with 1,032 career points before being released last March. He most recently worked out for the Lions this past week and married Terry Bradshaw’s daughter Rachel back in June.
