Onaje Miller, the first verbal commitment of Michigan States 2012 class was arrested was arrested early Saturday morning in his hometown of Lansing, according to WLNS-TV.
According to the report, police officers cited three youths including Miller for minor in possession of alcohol and having two loaded handguns.
Perhaps this incident involving Miller will shed some light on exactly what happened between Michigan State and Miller when Miller was released from his letter of intent back in June. Miller was expected to transfer to another school.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Miller set career records at Sexton with 3,566 rushing yards and 64 total touchdowns, was ranked as the 14th-best player in the state by rivals.com last season.
Miller also reportedly got scholarship offers from Michigan, Wisconsin and Central Michigan.
