Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the former Iranian president who denied the Holocaust, cracked down on religious dissent and believed that homosexuality didn’t exist in his country because there were no gay people in Iran, took to Twitter the other day to reassure Michigan fans heading into this weekend’s game against Michigan State.
In response to another Twitter user who was expressing some of their own frustrations with the slow start to Jim Harbaugh’s overall tenure with the team, Ahmadinejad responded by saying that “U of M will return to its glory days”.
Wut?
With a hard work ethic Inshallah the U of M will return to its glory days.

Okay… I wonder what his thoughts on the Beilien era are? I’m also wondering what other dictators and former dictators think on the subject? I’m guessing since Kim Jong Un is a big Jordan fan he may have the same feelings as Ahmadinejad considering Michigan’s use of the ‘jump man’ logo. Perhaps though maybe Bashar al-Assad will throw his support behind the Spartans?
He was since ousted from office by moderate Hassan Rouhani.
