Rumors surfaced this week that QB Brett Favre may be interested in making yet another comeback, this time however with the Miami Dolphins.
According to a report by the Miami Herald, Favre was moving slowly and looking like he was in no condition to make a comeback to the NFL as he was asked about the Dolphins rumors.
“I haven’t heard anything, and I don’t have any interest,” Favre snapped, quickly retreating into a pickup truck. “No.”
“You’re from Miami?” Favre asked, when introduced to a reporter from The Miami Herald. “Don’t you have anything better to do?”
According to other sources, Favre has been spending a vast majority of the off-season vacationing in Wyoming and is in no condition to return to the NFL. Others said that he hasn’t even stepped foot on the Oak Hall High School football field, the high school where Favre usually conditions at during the off-season or when he doesn’t quite feel like attending an NFL training camp.
Favre has brought all this attention on himself with his on again and off again retirements. Even though from the accounts it may seem like Favre returning this season is a long shot but keep in mind this was the same Favre who was injured during the off-season last year yet came back to embarrass himself and the Minnesota Vikings. I myself won’t be totally convinced Favre isn’t returning until the first couple weeks of the NFL season has come and gone.
