UPDATE: The fan who fell from the upper deck at Turner Field did pass away as a result of their injuries. It’s now being said that the fan fell in upwards of 65 feet into a parking lot during a two-hour rain delay between the Phillies and Braves Monday night. There’s been no word yet if the wet conditions or alcohol played a factor in the fall.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitutiona fan fell from the upper deck of Turner Field around 9PM ET during the Phillies/Braves game. Eyewitnesses say the individual fell at least 3o feet before being taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

This though wouldn’t be the first time a fan fell from the upper deck at Turner Field. Just over five years ago a fan died when they fell roughly 150 feet from the upper deck.

No other details were released but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
