Aside for Rich Rodriguez being promised a matchup with Michigan in the future, his era at Arizona continued to get off to a bizarre start.

Last week, newly hired Wildcats head coach Rich Rodriguez was introduced to the local media, the Arizona staff and his new players. By all accounts it had the makings of the normal run-of-the-mill press conference and introduction of a new college head football coach.

That was until Rodriguez started introducing his family.

According to SI.com and Sports Grid, things got pretty awkward when the discussion turned to Rodriguezโ€™s 15-year-old daughter Raquelโ€ฆ

When he got to Raquel, he issued a warning. โ€œSheโ€™s only 15,โ€ Rodriguez said. โ€œI had to tell my guys at the other school not to Facebook her.

Hmmโ€ฆ obviously Rodriguez wanted to get the important things out-of-the-way first.

But it doesnโ€™t stop there!

Rodriguez continued to dish out more words of wisdom to his playersโ€ฆ.

Later, Rodriguez said there is only one type of guy he doesnโ€™t want on his team. โ€œOne thing I assure you. There will not be anybody in this program that I think is a turd,โ€ Rodriguez said. โ€œYou know what a turd is? A turd is a bad guy. If youโ€™re a good guy and you work hard, I can put up with a lot of stuff. But if youโ€™re a turdโ€ฆโ€

So there are a couple of conclusions we can draw from Rodriguezโ€™s introduction to the Wildcats.

First, youโ€™re obviously a turd if you try to Facebook his daughter.

Second, it may already be safe to assume that Arizona will be looking for a new head coach in another three years, at the latest.

No word yet if Rich Rod had Josh Groban playing in the background. Weโ€™ll keep you posted though.
