TMSNX – The Broncos were perfect on fourth down attempts through the first half of the season.
Then came the Eagles of Eastern Michigan University.
Eastern Michigan used a Western failed fourth and goal (placed inches from the goal line) stuff to beat the Broncos 14-10 Saturday afternoon from Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti.
The Eagles offense did a very good job staying on the field as Alex Gillett used a 14 yard TD run to put Eastern up for good.
Western struggled for the entire first half and then in the fourth quarter as they dropped to 4-4 overall and 2-2 in the Mid-American Conference seemingly ending their conference title hopes.
Eastern Michigan is 5-3 and 3-1 in the MAC.
