Durant and LeBron shine as West beats East in NBA All-Star Game

LeBron James and Kevin Durant stole the show Sunday night as the West beat the East 152-149 in the NBA All-Star Game from Orlando. Durant had 36 points on 14-for-25 shooting, with seven rebounds and three assists. Despite the loss James was spectacular in the losing effort, racking up 36 points on 15-for-23 shooting, with six rebounds and seven assists, including this amazing windmill dunk…

Durant though won the head-to-head as he was named the All-Star MVP after the game.

Kobe Bryant also become the all time leader for All-Star Game points scored surpassing Michael Jordan.

After trailing the entire game the East almost pulled off an amazing comeback. Trailing by 20 points in the fourth quarter with 8:19 to play, the East closed the gap to 150-149 with 22.8 seconds to play. However in one of his only bad plays of the night LeBron got the ball with five seconds to play and instead of trying to set up the score himself attempted to pass to Dwyane Wade but had it picked off by Blake Griffin as the game ended.
