Offensive Tackle Eric Fisher from Central Michigan

Pick Grade: A
Comments: I’m really surprised they took Fisher over Joeckel, but I get it. Look for Brandon Albert to be traded very soon.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Offensive Tackle Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M

Pick Grade: B
Comments: The only reason that I don’t give this pick an A is that Eugene Monroe is still a good Left Tackle, so the pick addresses a redundant position, especially with the Jaguars needing talent everywhere.
Miami Dolphins
Outside Linebacker Dion Jordan from Oregon

Pick Grade: B
Comments: The pass rush is going to be sick with Cameron Wake and Jordan lining up at OLB. Good pick. The reason its not an A grade is because there were bigger needs they needed.
Philadelphia Eagles
Offensive Tackle Lane Johnson from Oklahoma

Pick Grade: B
Comments: The Eagles have needed a left tackle for several years, especially since Jason Peters cannot stay healthy. Good pick but probably a slight reach.
Detroit Lions
Defensive End Ezekiel Ansah from BYU

Pick Grade: C
Comments: Don’t like it because the stats aren’t there to support his high praise. Good athlete, but the Lions have a poor track record with developmental picks, which Ansah is.
Cleveland Browns
Outside Linebacker Barkevious Mingo from LSU

Comments: Great fit and great value.
Arizona Cardinals
Offensive Guard Jonathan Cooper from North Carolina

Pick Grade: A
Comments: The Cardinals found their tackles last season and now its time to find their guards. Cooper is super athletic and is a great fit in Arizona.
St. Louis Rams
Wide Receiver Tavon Austin from West Virginia

Pick Grade: B
Comments: They gave up a lot to move up, but it gives Sam Bradford a great weapon. Not an A because of what they traded to get him.
New York Jets
Cornerback Dee Milliner from Alabama

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Traded Revis, and then replaced him for 15 million dollars less a season. Smart selection for the Jets.
Tennessee Titans
Offensive Guard Chance Warmack from Alabama

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Power blocking offensive guard that will help open up holes for CJ2K. Will be a great fit for many years to come.
San Diego Chargers
Offensive Tackle D.J. Fluker from Alabama

Pick Grade: B
Comments: Bit of a reach, but fits a huge need for the Chargers. Fluker has the highest ceiling of all the Tackles, but also has the deepest floor.
Oakland Raiders
Cornerback D.J. Hayden from Houston

Pick Grade: D
Comments: Major reach with a concerning injury history. Another classic bonehead Raiders Pick.
New York Jets
Defensive Tackle Sheldon Richardson from Missouri

Comments: Really question the need, as they have now drafted a defensive lineman for three straight drafts in the first round. (M. Wilkerson in 2011 and Q. Coples in 2012)
Carolina Panthers
Defensive Tackle Star Lotulelei from Utah

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Early in the draft process he was considered the best prospect. Steal for the Panthers this late and fills a huge need.
New Orleans Saints
Free Safety Kenny Vaccaro from Texas

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Perfect scheme fit and a great value.
Buffalo Bills
Quarterback E.J. Manuel from Florida State

Pick Grade: D
Comments: I don’t see anything that says that Manuel can be a successful starter in the league. I guess Buffalo likes losing games.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Outside Linebacker Jarvis Jones from Georgia

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Perfect Scheme fit and a great value.
San Francisco 49ers
Free Safety Eric Reid from LSU

Pick Grade: B
Comments: I like the fit, but I think they gave up way too much to move up in the draft to pick a safety, especially with how many talented ones there are. Nothing against Reid, but he wasn’t worth moving up 12 spots for.
New York Giants
Offensive Lineman Justin Pugh from Syracuse

Pick Grade: B
Comments: Good fit in New York, but I don’t think he will be a good tackle because of his T-Rex arms. If they plan on using him at Guard, it will work out very well.
Chicago Bears
Offensive Lineman Kyle Long from Oregon

Comments: Dumb. Just Dumb. So many bigger needs that could have been addressed.
Cincinnati Bengals
Tight End Tyler Eifert from Notre Dame

Pick Grade: C
Comments: Good value at pick 21 but isn’t a good fit on the team. The Bengals already have Jermaine Gresham who has an identical skill set.
Atlanta Falcons
Cornerback Desmond Trufant from Washington

Pick Grade: A
Comments: Really smart pick, especially with his production and combine work. Will be a day one contributor for the dirty birds.
Minnesota Vikings
Defensive Tackle Sharrif Floyd from Florida

Pick Grade: A
Comment: How the mighty have fallen. The Vikings get a steal here, as most pundits had him going anywhere from 10 to 20 picks sooner.
Indianapolis Colts

Comment: Good value, but doesn’t fit the scheme for the Colts, unless they haven’t told anyone that they are moving back to a 4-3.
St. Louis Rams
Cornerback Xavier Rhodes from Florida State

Comments: I think he’s going to play safety for the Rams. They already are set at corner, but have a huge need at safety. He has the frame to be successful there.
Green Bay Packers

Comments: Good Fit, but I’m not as high on him as everyone else is. All the recent UNC DT’s haven’t lived up to the hype, and I don’t think he will either.

Comments: They mortgaged the farm to trade back up, but they fill a big need. They just don’t pick again till day 3.

Comments: As long as they are going to play him at OLB, he will fit right in next to James Lauranaitis.
Dallas Cowboys

Comments: Huge stretch, but still fits a big need. Will play guard for the Boys, but still was a late day two pick at best.

Comments: I love Matt Elam and the Ravens really needed a safety. Great player and great value.
