The beard is staying the City of Angels at least for the next year.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers and free agent reliever Brian Wilson agreed on a one-year deal worth $10 million dollars. There is also reportedly a player option for 2015 which is believed to be worth $9-10 million.
Wilson returns the the Dodgers who rolled the dice on him after the former Giants closer was shelved with Tommy John’s Surgery. LA was rewarded as Wilson posted a 0.66 earned-run average in 18 regular-season games. In the postseason, he had six scoreless innings, meaning overall he gave up one earned run in 192/3 innings, an ERA of 0.46.
Wilson also drew big interest from the Tigers however talks were broken off between the two sides earlier on in the week.
