Detroit City FC is No. 1 in the USL Championship power rankings and has secured a home playoff match. Adam Hernandez and Sean Spence break down the back-to-back 1–0 wins over Birmingham and Rhode Island, including Kobe Hernandez-Foster’s penalty, Carlos Herrera’s red card, Carlos Saldaña’s response, and Darren Smith’s winner.
The defense looks ready for the postseason. Adam and Sean discuss why the team has become so difficult to break down, where the attack still needs more goals, and how City might adjust with Saldaña in net against first-place Tampa Bay. They also get into the playoff race, the Keyworth atmosphere, and the debate over supporter smoke before making different picks for Saturday’s match. ⚜️
