Guard Jason Calliste led a potent Detroit attack as the Titans took down two-time NCAA Tournament finalist Butler 76-65 Sunday afternoon from Calihan.

Calliste led all scorers with 16 points including four of the five Detroit starters who scored in double figures. Ray McCallum had 12 points and seven assists, Donavan Foster scored 11 and Doug Anderson finished with 10 for Detroit (8-10, 2-4 Horizon).

Detroit who never trailed in the game led 38-26 at halftime and by 23 points with 5 minutes remaining.

The Titan defense was pretty effective as well holding Butlers Ronald Nored to 13 points and Khyle Marshall to 11.
