Michigan got some good news today as QB Denard Robinson and CB J.T. Floyd informed them that they would return to the University for their senior seasons.

Both players lightly flirted with the NFL after filing paper work with the Draft Advisory Board to determine where at all they would be drafted.

“It’s been a dream to play in the NFL, & hopefully after next year that becomes a reality,” Robinson was quoted in the @umichfootball Twitter feed. “… but I wouldn’t pass up being here w/ my teammates & coaches for anything. It’s my second family. I love my teammates, I love Michigan.”

Floyd, too, was quoted on the Twitter feed, saying, “Being around all of the great people here, I just couldn’t see myself not being here for my senior year.”

Both players had fine seasons with Michigan in a resurgent season for the University. Robinson threw for 3,219 yards and 34 touchdowns as Michigan went 11-2 and beat Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl. Floyd broke up nine passes this past season which was a season high. He also had two interceptions and one forced fumble.
