Daniel Winnik of the Washington Capitals very well may get my vote for badass of the week after losing part of his ear last night blocking a shot against the Florida Panthers.

Having the balls to go down and block a shot is one thing, getting hit in the head is another then losing a piece of your ear? Or how about the simple fact the guy came back and played afterward.
