The Nevada State Athletic Commission handed out their suspensions to UFC stars Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov for their role in a UFC 229 brawl in early October of last year.

The NAC gave McGregor a six-month ban and a $50,000 fine while Khabib received a harsher sentence getting slapped with a nine-month suspension and a $500,000 fine.

Khabib however could see his suspension reduced by three months if he agrees to shooting an anti-bullying PSA which the NAC finds acceptable.

The outcome here isnโ€™t surprising when you consider Khabib jumped out of the octagon in the immediate wake of submitting McGregor in the fourth round at UFC 229 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Khabib had his sights set on Dillon Danis in McGregorโ€™s corner while Khabibโ€™s teammates, including UFC fighter Zubaira Tukhugov, went after McGregor in the cage.

Tukhugov and Khabibโ€™s cousin Abubakar Nurmagomedov were also suspended during Tuesdayโ€™s hearing as both were hit with a one-year sentence and $25,000 fine.

Now if Khabib cuts the PSA McGregor and himself could be back as early as April. However itโ€™s believed that McGregor is more so targeting a late spring to summer comeback.
