Amid trade speculation, Phillies starter Cole Hamels threw his first career no-hitter Saturday afternoon in a 5-0 win over the Cubs from Wrigley Field.

Throwing one hundred and twenty-nine total pitchers, Hamels ended up striking out thirteen and walking just two in the win. The Phillies starter also managed a hit himself which meant not only did he no-hit the Cubs, he also out hit them as well.

Hereโ€™s Phillies OF Odubel Herrera making things interesting at the end with this lunging catch on the warning track for the final out.

This latest no-hitter was the third this year for Major League Baseball and the fourteenth in Phillies history. It was also the first no-no thrown against the Cubs since 1965.

What a way to go out though in perhaps your final start for the team that may be dealing you this upcoming week.
