For the second straight year – and the third time in four years – the Cleveland Cavaliers have won the NBA Draft Lottery securing the first overall pick in a draft class full of stud prospects. Perhaps it’s some sort of consolation from the basketball gods after LeBron took his talents to South Beach the Dan Gilbert’s Cavs will have their choice of Joel Embiid, Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker.
Following Cleveland will be the Milwaukee Bucks (who owned the NBA’s worst record this season) followed by the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 3. What may be the most amazing tidbit in all of this though is Cleveland entering tonight had a 1.7% chance to land that first overall pick. Odd…

Anyways other than Cleveland and the rest of the top three a few other notables is the Celtics, Lakers and Knicks missing out on a top 10 pick. Meanwhile the Pistons surrender the 9th overall pick to Charlotte basically for taking Ben Gordon’s contract off their hands.
