The Cleveland Indians are going to the World Series

The Cleveland Indians are making their first trip to the World Series since 1997 after beating the Toronto Blue Jays 3-0 today winning the ALCS in five games.

Carlos Santana and Coco Crisp each had home runs while Cleveland reliever Andrew Miller was named the ALCS MVP. Miller who whose been dominant since arriving in Cleveland became just the second reliever in postseason history with at least seven scoreless innings pitched and 14 strikeouts.

Cleveland will now have some sitting around to do. Currently the Dodgers lead the Cubs two games to one in the NLCS best-of-seven.
