Wednesday night against the Rockies, Clayton Kershaw threw the 22nd no-hitter in Dodgers history during an 8-0 win in LA.
Kershaw struck out 15 which was a new standard for lefties during no-hitters and was as perfect as you could be without actually throwing the perfect game or having an umpire blow the call. And when I mean as perfect as you could get without the perfect game, Kershaw didn’t even issue a walk during the nine innings he was out there. Not to mention the only blunder on the night came via Hanley Ramirez’s who couldn’t make a clean throw to first on a short hop.
Either way it was still quite the accomplishment for one of the game’s best.
