Christian Ehrhoff may need a Band-Aid.
This past Sunday the Buffalo defenseman nearly had his ear ripped off by a puck in a 5-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Luckily for Ehrhoff (I guess) the Sabres’ training staff managed to reattach the majority of the ear with around 40 or so stitches.
The pictures below are pretty gruesome and by the look of the female fan in the background above it looks like things may have hurt just a bit. But like all hockey players I’m sure a detached ear will keep Ehrhoff out for zero games.
