Giants rookie pitcher Chris Heston threw his first career no-hitter tonight striking out 11 in a 5-0 win over the New York Mets. Heston’s no-hitter was the 288th no-hitter in MLB history and becomes the first rookie since Clay Buchholz back in 2007 to accomplish the feet.
Heston didn’t walk a batter but hit five keeping him from the perfect game. Impressive nonetheless.
