Well the Chad Johnson experiment didn’t last long in South Beach.
A day after the former star wide out was arrested on domestic violence charges for head butting his wife over a receipt for a box of condoms, the Miami Dolphins released Chad Johnson. (Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer)
The move immediately makes HBO’s Hard Knocks more excited but leaves the Dolphins with Davone Bess, Legedu Naanee, Roberto Wallace and Brian Hartline as their only wide receiver options. Not to mention their QB situation isn’t the best with Matt Moore and rookie Ryan Tannehill.
Furthermore TMZ.com obtained the police report from Johnson’s arrest stating that his wife Evelyn Lozada “fled on foot to a neighbor’s house to get away from Johnson.” Johnson then drove around the neighborhood looking for but later said he was driving around to give her time to calm down.
