After scoring the game tying goal with under a minute left in regulation, Bostonโ€™s Patrice Bergeron scored the game-winning goal 6:05 into overtime as the Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in Game 7 Monday night.

With a 4-1 lead in the third period the Maple Leafs looked primed to complete their comeback after previously being down 3-1 in the series. However the Bruins never gave up and applied the pressure to the Leafs late as James Reimer had trouble giving up rebounds and Toronto as a whole having trouble in the face off circle.

And as Bergeron ended Torontoโ€™s long awaited return to the playoffs, Maple Leafโ€™s fans were stunned in disbelief in Maple Leafโ€™s square outside the Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto.

The Bruins will now go on to face the New York Rangers who finished off the Washington Capitals 5-0 in Game 7 from D.C..
