Broncos’ safety Mike Adams says he’s walking home if Denver wins the Super Bowl

So just how excited is Broncos safety Mike Adams to be in the Super Bowl? So happy he’s willing to walk 12 miles home to Paterson, New Jersey if the Broncos score a win over the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.

Mike Kiszla of the Denver Post reports:

“If we win the Super Bowl, I’m going to keep my helmet and pads on and I’m walking home,” Adams insists.

“After I get to the IHOP on Route 3, I’ll start hitchhiking,” said Adams, laughing. “But they’d probably think I’m just some crazy person.”

He’s probably joking. But then again I’d probably do some crazy things if I won the Super Bowl. Hell I’d probably do some crazy things if my Beer League softball team won our championship.

But if you’re in the area next Sunday night and you see a hitchhiker in full Broncos garb, it may just be Mike Adams.
