Brett McMurphy keeps dropping bombs on this whole Ohio State, Urban Meyer and Zach Smith saga.
After Smith, the now fired wide receivers coach who made a habit of beating this shit out of his former wife, made his interview rounds (105.7 The Fan and ESPN) claiming he “never committed domestic abuse” against his ex-wife, McMurphy released the following text:
Zach Smith told @1057TheZone he never abused Courtney. Here is text message b/w Zach & Courtney when he admits & apologizes for strangling his wife on Punta Cana trip in March 2015 & again in April pic.twitter.com/GjcjWh6mFT

Smith tried to explain that any marks on his ex-wife were a result of ‘defensive movements’ to remove himself from the situation.
Right.
So how does this affect the whole Urban Meyer situation who’s currently on paid administrative leave from Ohio State? Who knows but it certainly doesn’t help matters any better for Meyer if he’s looking to keep his job in Columbus.
