Further shakeup in the top 25 occurred Saturday as Ole Miss used some late game heroics from Bo Wallace to give the Rebels a 23-17 win over Alabama Saturday. Down 17-10 entering the fourth quarter, Wallace found Jaylen Walton with 2:54 remaining in the game (his second TD pass of the quarter) to give Ole Miss that 23-17 lead.
However it was Senquez Golson’s interception of Blake Sims with 37 seconds remaining to seal the win for Ole Miss.
The Rebels now move to 5-0 on the season for the first time since the 1960’s. Meanwhile with a Oregon and now Alabama loss this weekend, that playoff picture just became a little more fuzzy.
