New Jersey (5-7-1) @ Detroit (8-7-0)
The Devils look to keep their wins coming, while Detroit is looking to continue riding their homestreak into first place in the Central.
The Wings didn’t have to wait long, as Captain Zetterberg (4) potted the first goal of the game, (A: Nyquist, Filppula). It would take ten minutes before another goal would be tallied, this time it would come from team leader, Valtteri Filppula (8) (A: Bertuzzi, Datsyuk).
In the second period, it wouldn’t be long again before the Wings struck. This time, Justin Abdelkader (1) at 2:18 (A: Kronwall, Tootoo). New Jersey looked to make a game of it though, with Captain Ilya Kovalchuk (3) netting one five minutes in (A: Zajac). However, it would just go downhill for Brodeur and co. from there, as Datsyuk (5) beat Brodeur at 10:28 (A: Zetterberg), and Tootoo (2) not 3 minutes later (A: Abdelkader).
They didn’t wait long in the third period to ice it, with Darren Helm (3) beating Brodeur, who finished the game, only 56 seconds into the frame (A: Quincey, Samuelsson).

Minnesota (9-6-2) @ Detroit (10-7-0)
The Detroit Red Wings look to get back at the Wild, who beat them at home their last meeting, and inch closer to that Central division top spot.
Again, the Wings seemed to start on time tonight. As Henrik Zetterberg (5) scored on Nicklas Backstrom (A: White, Ericsson) with only 5 minutes in. Minnesota however would answer back quickly, with Dany Heatley (7) scoring on a powerplay at 18:48 (A: McMillan, Scandella).
The Second period was tightly contested, with neither siding putting the biscuit in the basket.
However in the third, Wings fans got a rarity. At 7:52 Henrik Zetterberg (6) again scored, from right to the side of the net (A: Nyquist, Colaiacovo), and the Captain (7) got the hat trick, scoring an Empty Netter at 19:39 (A: Cleary, Ericsson).

Pittsburgh (9-8-0) @ Detroit (10-7-0)
The Red Wings look to keep their red-hot home streak alive, as the Penguins look to keep above .500 on a struggling year.
In the first period, Detroit simply dominated the Penguins and Tomas Vokoun. They outshot the Penguins 15-8, and scored three goals in the process. Valtteri Filppula (9) scored at 4:17 (A: Bertuzzi, Colaiacovo), Datsyuk (6) at 10:19 (A: Bertuzzi, Smith), and Filppula (10) again at 18:18 (A: Datsyuk, Ericsson).
The second, Detroit continued to outshoot and pressure the Penguins, but no goals were scored despite three Pittsburgh powerplays, and two Detroit powerplays.
In the third however, Detroit would add on to the deficit for the Penguins, with Darren Helm scoring from an odd angle (A: Samuelsson, Miller). The shutout was not meant to be however, at 8:15, only a minute after Helms goal, Chris Kunitz would kill the goose egg for Howard (A: Niskanen, Malkin).
