ESPN personality Bill Simmons appeared on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw which went pretty much as you would expect, forgettable and a completely mundane.
Deadspin happened to point out Simmons potentially breaking kayfabe when he mentioned The Bunny, a former valet of Adam Rose who was quietly dropped by the promotion not being ringside. That Bunny overlook would have been pretty awful if mentioned by JBL but how much pro wrestling knowledge could you expect Bill Simmons to have coming into tonight? Not to mention about some mid card performer like Adam Rose?
Perhaps things would be more interesting if Vince McMahon was able to secure a handicap match that pitted Mike and Mike in one corner and Simmons in the other. Otherwise these celebrities and guest personalities is something the WWE should give up.
