Oklahoma saw their 39-game home winnings streak come to an end Saturday night as Texas Tech defeated the Sooners 41-38.
Seth Doege threw for 441 yards and connected with Alex Torres on three of his four touchdown passes. This was all done despite missing three starters. The Red Raiders are now just the third team to beat OU coach Bob Stoops at home.
The Sooners now sit at 75-3 under the Stoops era at Owen Field. Oklahoma State and TCU are the only other two teams to defeat Oklahoma on their home field.
Landry Jones ended up with 412 yards passing and five touchdowns. This however wasn’t enough to compensate for Oklahoma’s sluggish start.
