Michigan State wide out B.J. Cunningham may not be as well known as Spartan receivers of the past like Plaxico Burress, Charles Rogers or Andre Rison. However Cunningham is on the verge of claiming something at State that is all his own.
According to Greg Johnson of the Grand Rapids Press, Cunningham only needs 10 receptions his senior season to become Michigan State’s all time leader in receptions.
Johnson adds that Cunningham has done it rather quietly as well…
“That’s just B.J.,” MSU quarterback Kirk Cousins said. “He works hard, he runs his routes, he studies film, he gets better and he makes plays. You know with him, you just have to get the ball near him.”
Currently Cunningham has 139 receptions which puts him third on the all-time list. Matt Trannon leads the way with 148 with Andre Rison in second with 146 total receptions.
