Auburn heading to the Final Four after disposing of Kentucky in OT

Auburn keeps defying the odds as the War Eagle has become the 2019 NCAA Tournament team of destiny.

Kansas… check.

North Carolina… check.

Kentucky… CHECK.

The Wildcats too may have been their biggest challenge yet. Chuma Okeke tore his ACL in the win over the Tar Heels, so they were without him and Kentucky had already beaten the Tigers twice this season. Auburn didn’t shoot exceptionally well today either like they have been throughout the Tournament. Plus the magic has to end at some point right?

Not today…

Picking up for Okeke was the backcourt duo of Bryce Brown and Jared Harper who combined for 50 points leading Auburn to their first ever Final Four appearance in School history after down the Wildcats 77-71 in overtime.

But like I mentioned before, the Tigers couldn’t rely just on their offense today. If they did we’d be seeing Kentucky take on No. 1 Virginia in Minneapolis. It was that War Eagle defense taking matters into their own hands late like we see here from Horace Spencer and then by Anfernee McLemore to push the game into OT.

Then it was Jared Harper who took over in OT for Auburn and punched the Tigers’ ticket to Minneapolis.

War Eagle is alive and well. Be on the fucking lookout Virginia.
