On January 3, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL on his right knee, and yesterday we’re getting our first visual glimpses into how everything seemed to turn out while he continues the rehabilitation process.
In a post to Murray’s stories on Instagram, the QB can be seen sitting on a trainer’s table with his right knee stitched up.
It’s been an eventful offseason for the Cardinals as the organization has parted ways with head coach Kliff Kingsbury and GM Steve Keim while recently hiring Monti Ossenfort to fill the vacancy left by Keim’s departure. Needless to say, whenever Murray is ready to get back onto the field, the’s going to walk into a very different situation than the one he left as Arizona by that time will have a new head coach and offensive coordinator in place.
Unfortunately, the new offensive led by that new staff will have to get underway without Murray who probably won’t be ready for the begging of the regular season.
