In less than two weeks, the Los Angeles Rams will take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII from Atlanta. Odds have the Rams as slight underdogs while SportsLine simulations give the Patriots a narrow win with an average score of 29-28.

Not that Rams fans should fret over being slight underdogs less than a week and a half out from the Big Game. If anything oddsmakers are making Super Bowl LIII out to be one hell of a game.

Something however that can be counted on is this upcoming Super Bowl won’t be the last time the Rams are thrust into these big games.

Now I’m not going to go ahead and pull some LeBron and guarantee some absurd amount of championships for the Rams however if there’s any team in the NFL that are next in line for dynasty status it’s without a doubt the Rams.

For any doubters out there lets look at some of the facts.

First the Rams have the makings of what could be a great head coach in Sean McVay who’s still amazingly enough in his early 30’s. They have an excellent young quarterback in Jared Goff who still has plenty of potential while providing the front office with a guy on offense to build around. Additionally, Los Angeles also posses big time play makers on both sides of the ball in Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald.

Now of course this doesn’t translate into any kind of guarantees or a Patriots type of dynasty. In fact we’ll probably never see what the Patriots have in the NFL ever again. However it’s undeniable after what happened last year, the make up of their roster and growing track record of the head coach that the Rams’ window is still opening.

Plus how ironic would it be too if the Rams were able to be anointed by the Patriots while finally slamming their window shut?
