Amanda Nunes wins women’s bantamweight title after destroying Miesha Tate at UFC 200

The UFC crowned a new women’s bantamweight champion at UFC 200 as Amanda Nunes completely destroyed Miesha Tate via a first round rear-naked choke.

By the look of Tate’s face, it’s hard to imagine this was still the first round as Nunes had it completely rearranged.

The women’s division within the UFC also continues to be wide open as we’ve seen new bantamweight champions crowned in three consecutive title defenses. It all started when Holly Holm defeated the Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 on November 15th, 2015. Tate then beat Holm in Holm’s first title defense at UFC 196  before Nunes took the championship last night.
