In what really isn’t that surprising of a move (considering the leadership at the top) the Oakland Raiders selected former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor in the third-round of the NFL Supplemental Draft on Monday.
The selection process began around 1PM ET via email with teams passing on picks through the first two-rounds. Oakland had to jump on Pryor in the third-round since they didn’t have a fourth-round pick in the 2012 regular draft and they could’ve risked losing Pryor to a team like the Cincinnati Bengals in the 5th round.
With Oakland’s selection of Pryor in the third-round of the supplemental draft means that the Raiders will forfeit their third-round pick in 2012 draft in April.
