Adam's Big Ten picks for week one

College football season is back and with that are my Big Ten picks for the first weekend. There really aren’t going to be too many surprises considering conference play doesn’t start for several weeks still and for the most part the Big Ten is playing mid major teams (I know not all are though). Remember, the first pick is who I think is going to win the game and the second pick is who I think will win versus the spread and as always the home team are in all CAPS. With that said here are my Big Ten picks…
INDIANA over Towson

OHIO STATE -28 over Marshall
Spread: Take Marshall and the +28 points
Minnesota -1 over MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE
Spread: Take Minnesota -1
MICHIGAN STATE -24 over Western Michigan
Spread:  Take Michigan State -24 (I might regret that)
PENN STATE over Youngstown St.
Spread: n/a but this is going to be a blowout
IOWA over Eastern Illinois
Spread: n/a but another blowout
MISSOURI -12.5 over Illinois
Spread: Take Missouri -12.5
MICHIGAN -2.5 over Connecticut
Spread: Take Michigan -2.5
NOTRE DAME -11 over Purdue
Spread: Take Notre Dame -11 (Brian Kelly statement game)
Northwestern -4 over VANDERBILT
Spread: Take Northwestern -4
Wisconsin -20.5 over UNLV
Spread: Take Wisconsin -20.5
