This year’s Stanley Cup Finals between the Vancouver Canucks and Boston Bruins certainly had its fair share of excitement and intrigue. However it also had a few players that had us taking double takes since they looked so much like certain Hollywood celebrities.
So who were these players and celebrities? Lets take a look…
Roberto Luongo aka Sacha Baron Cohen
Luongo’s resemblance to Bruno is uncanny. Maybe he can get a job as Cohen’s stunt double since I cannot see him showing his face in Vancouver after yet another big choke job in the playoffs.
Kevin Bieksa aka Cheddar Bob from 8 Mile
I never realized this one until a friend of mine brought it up at work. If Bieksa signs with Detroit in the off-season maybe he can appear in an 8 Mile sequel opposite of Eminem.
Tim Thomas aka Alan from the Hangover aka Zach Galifianakis
This one was first brought to my attention by a fan on our Detroit Facebook page. I wonder if Tim Thomas has mastered the art of card counting?
