Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman is no stranger to running his mouth. Remember he’s the guy that got in the face of Patriots QB Tom Brady several weeks ago after the Seahawks knocked off New England. That time he pretty much got away with the trash talk without any ramifications.
This week though was a different story.
After Seattle’s 24-14 comeback win Sherman decided to run his mouth to Redskins Pro Bowl offensive tackle Trent Williams who wasn’t having any of it. Williams in retaliation delivered an open hand shove to the face of Sherman who may or may not of been caught off guard.
Sparks were flying even before today’s game between the two teams. This past Friday Washington’s Kedric Golston was quoted by USA Today calling Sherman a “cheater” after his positive PED test which he fought and won.
Williams though took the blame for the altercation between himself and Sherman after the game.
“It’s nobody’s fault but mine. I’ve got to calm down a little bit. It’s just, when you lose a game like this with high intensity, you are on edge, and I reacted in an immature manner,” Williams said, via
