In the coming days it’s expected that longtime Eagles head coach Andy Reid will get the boot after completing yet another disappointing season. And one would think given all the hardships Reid has endured on and off the field (especially with his family) he (Reid) would welcome a year off to perhaps collect himself and take a little mental break.
However that doesn’t seem to be in the plans for Reid who expects to be fired but says he wants to continue coaching in 2013.
“I want to coach,” Reid said. “That’s what I want to do
As always there will be head coaching vacancies this coming offseason and given Reid’s reputation around the league he shouldn’t have trouble finding some kind of coaching work in the NFL.
Reid has already been linked too the San Diego head coaching job, that is if the Chargers part ways with Norv Turner. Reid was also rumored to be the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
